Trauma Resolution Group

Now offering a 6 week trauma recovery group for women between the ages of 21-45 y/o who have experienced trauma and are seeking to work through the healing stage to develop a new stronger self. This group will allow participants to foster understanding of trauma and how it influences their lives. The participants will learn to improve their level of functioning and develop healthy coping skills. The group can help increase self-esteem, self-awareness, assertiveness, resiliency, self acceptance, and community.

Bro, Let's Talk About It!

These weekly groups that help build a safe space for men to discuss vulnerable topics. These group act as judgment free spaces where men can express their anxiety, trauma, guilt, or shame while developing emotional awareness and positive coping skills. This group aims to create a community of men with similar circumstances dedicated to supporting and helping each other work on problems with their own mental health.

Now offering a 6 week trauma recovery group for BIPOC women between the ages of 21-40 y/o who have experienced trauma and are seeking to work through the healing stage to develop a new stronger self. This group will allow participants to foster understanding of trauma and how it influences their lives. The participants will learn to improve their level of functioning and develop healthy coping skills. The group can help increase self-esteem, self-awareness, assertiveness, resiliency, and self acceptance, and community.

Trauma Informed Care in Clinical Practice

There is an increasing amount of research on the importance of trauma informed care within the healthcare setting. The more we learn about Trauma, we continue to redefine the previous narrative of what trauma is. We now know that trauma can present on a spectrum. Although most clinical healthcare workers do not work in settings that focus primarily on treating trauma patients, it is important that their is some general knowledge around trauma informed care. This Training will offer a look into trauma informed care while working in a clinical healthcare setting. It will cover the 6 key components of trauma informed practice and assist providers with structuring their practice in a way that meets this growing need. 

 

Objectives:

*Understanding the importance of trauma informed care in a none trauma focused setting. 

*Understanding of the 6 key components of Trauma informed care.

*Strategies to structure a clinical practice to ensure trauma informed care.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

 

Refund Policy

No refunds are available for cancellations requested within 48 hours of the workshop date.

 

Cancellations requested on or after the workshop date, such as for a no show, are not eligible for a refund, but may be eligible for a credit (see Credit Policy below).

 

Full Day Workshops (5 or more CEs): Cancellations requested within 48 hours of the workshop date will receive a refund minus a $70 fee.

 

If presenter cancels for any reason, registrants may request a full credit of the amount paid to be applied to any future workshop within 1 year of the cancellation OR a full refund.

 

Credit Policy

Cancellations can request a full credit be applied to a future date of any workshop within 12 months of the canceled workshop date, and if space is available at the requested date. Once a request for the use of credit is honored, no refund will be issued or other changes allowed. If the credit is not utilized within 12 months, the credit is forfeited.
