We use exposure therapy and psychoeducation to allow you to gain a better understanding of your self and develop the tools to manage your symptoms. Anxiety and depression is a lifelong battle but with the proper tools to manage it, you can come out victorious.
No boundaries, huh?? Well you're not alone. If boundaries were easy to accomplish then more people would set them. I too struggled to put effective boundaries in place and enforce them. It's our personal mission to equip more people with the tools to set and enforce healthy boundaries that will allow a reduction in anxiety, depression, and poor relationship dynamics. This space will allow you to gain a better understanding of boundaries and how they can help you manifest the life that you have always desired. We have staff trained to assist with Couple's and Individual counseling to assist with developing healthier relationships with self and others.
What is Trauma? Trauma is emotional shock following a stressful event or a physical injury. Long story short, It's life experiences that take a piece of your security. Trauma can be the result of a negative relationship, death, accident, miscarriage, and etc. All of these events and many more take your sense of ease and security and make you put up defense mechanisms to maintain your sense of control. This space will allow you to unpack your trauma and move from survivor mode to someone who thrives.
Trust2Change, LLC is a private practice founded in 2019. The practice aims to provide non intensive outpatient counseling for teens and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, boundary issues, and ineffective communication. Our professional staff is comprised of Therapists trained in holistic forms of treatment such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy as well as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. The practice utilizes exposure therapy, mindfulness techniques, grounding techniques, and thought reprocessing to assist clients with producing healthier outcomes in their life. We also incorporate somatic forms of healing into our practice which focuses on the mind and body connection as it relates to healing. We don't discourage
medication when needed but we offer a holistic form of healing that can either be paired with medication management or replace it all together. You and your therapist can discuss which option may be best for you.
